Rene Lefranc, D.V.M.

Meet Dr. Rene' Lefranc
Dr. Lefranc graduated from Tuskeegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He has practiced in Columbus, Georgia for 9 years. Dr. Lefranc's special interests include animal wellness and surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Outside of work, he enjoys weight lifting, kayaking, deep sea fishing and spending quality time with his wife Angie, children Gabrielle (10), Sean (4) and their dog, Gidget, Mia and 3 cats Mamma Kitty, Little Kitty, Baby Kitty and Felicia!

Christina and Charlie (Office Cat)
Christina is the proud mother of an English bulldog named Musa. Recently, she and her husband Ryan have added on to their family unit; they had a beautiful baby boy named Patrick. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Christina has been a Columbus Resident for about 5 years now. She's very kind to all the animals that come through our hospital, but she's especially fond of our English Bulldog patients. 
Jamie and Baloo
Jaime is the proud mother of three cats and two dogs.  She is enrolled at Savannah Technical College and aspires to become a nurse.
Allie and Sly
Allie is a Vet Tech here at Second Avenue Animal Hospital.  She has eight horses, three dogs, and a cat.  She is extremely passionate about Berral Racing and learning about animal care.

Brandee and Mani
Brandee is a native of Columbus, Georgia. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children: Tripp and Taylor. She has been working in animal hospitals for over 5 years and is just as compassionate for our patients as when she first started out.


Sara and Frankie
Sara is attending Columbus State University. She aspires to teach English as a second language to Japanese students. She's the proud mother of three of her own four-legged companions. She spent several years fostering and placing animals in her hometown, Savannah, Georgia. Sara likes to visit her parents in New Orleans at least once a month. Her parents joke about how she misses her brother (a Labrador retriever named Noah) more than she misses them.

Brandi Fox (Kennel Manager) and Petie
Brandi is 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital's Kennel Manager.  She is very compassionate about animals, and treats clients pets as if they were her own.  She has five wonderful dogs of her own, and a real sucker for strays.  
Leigh and Petie
Leigh is one of our Kennel technicians.  She's a diligent worker and passionate about every animal that steps through our office's doors.

Lindsey is a passionate animal lover and the proud mother of a nine year old Shih Tzu named Gizmo.  She hopes to become a Radiology Technician, and should start school at Columbus Technical College this upcoming semester.

Claudia and Paris
Claudia is the groomer at 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital.  She has been grooming for more than fourteen years.  The proud mother of two sons, DeMonte and Brian, and four cats.  She also has two canine companions that she cares for.
Charlie (One Eye Willie)
Charlie is our office mascot. He aspires to take over the clinic some day. He has spent several months in training. Charlie is also know as "One Eye Willie". After a terrible eye infection Charlie had to have his eye removed and does fine with just one. Charlie likes to greet our clients at the door so be on the watch out.
